I spent some of the afternoon surveying through some archives of visual flotsam and jetsam for my next expressive drawing assignment. I got in the habit of keeping anything visually interesting in a big box for use someday. From images out of books or magazines to candy wrappers and parking tickets. I've got some good stuff!
The project is to create a few small scale collages (6x6in.) Onxe the collages are finished we are to choose one to enlarge via projector on a larger paper. Sounds like fun.
Some of the inspiration for this assignmet is coming from some key artists in the collage field: Kurt Schwitter, Hannah Hoch and James Rosenquist.
