This sketchbook spread contains a smattering of various imagery and collage materials. An IKEA 'MIL" desk lamp (which I still use) instruction manual, a yellow sticker sheet frame, an image from National Geographic of what I am assuming are some serious Scottish break-dancers and a Smokey the bear advertisement. Juxtaposing this found imagery are a few doodles, characters and visual musings. My favorite part is the U.S.A. shaped creature in the background... and the igloo.
*Igloo means "home" and I guess for all intents and purposes that's a pretty good meaning behind it's symbolism used in my work as well.
